Process of Corrosion

the watch
slipped into the drain
and anger
flowed out

bouncing off
uncovered breasts
pounding
onto huddled legs

water drops
barely allowing
a cover-up
of crossed arms

and the angry words
piled up
dirty laundry style
stale smell
begging to be washed
hung clean to dry

but time slipped by
falling into the drain
sliding within shiny metal pipes
commencing the inevitable
process of corrosion
