I created these weavings in the “Faz de Urdimbre” style. It is a highland textile tradition that originated in the Andes during the period of Inca domination. I chose this style to create a “shield” of soft fiber that gives me strength and protection.

Through my weavings, I feel closer to my Incan ancestors and the many that came before me.
